Tips and Tricks
Chubb and Mortice Locks:
If you find that you cannot get the key into a Chubb or other 5 Lever
mortice locks, have a look at the keyhole. There is a key guard which
travels with the key when you turn it, sometimes this is turned and prevents
the key from entering the keyhole. Find something like a pen knife to turn
it to the correct position, and hey presto! No need to call a locksmith! If
unsuccessful call us!
No call out charge:
Some companies advertise "No call out charge!" Usually this just means that
they charge you using a different name, mainly Labour! Labour or Call Out
Charge it's the same thing! However, if you cancel with a company that
charges "No Call Out Charge", they sometimes try and charge a "Cancelled
Appointment Fee"! You have no requirement to pay them in either case.
